How to fill the CLAT 2023 application form?
- Login – Log in to access the application form.
- Select the program of study – After logging in, the first thing is to select the program of study 5-year LLB or one-year LLB
- Fill the form – There will be different fields like personal information, communication details, qualifying examination status, exam center preferences (THREE centers can be selected in the order of preference), and reservation. All fields need to be filled.
- Submit the form – Once the details are duly filled, agree to the declaration, give consent and submit the form.
- Pay the application fee – In the last step, pay the application fee (which is category-specific) in online mode using credit or debit cards, or net banking. Note that in addition to the exam fee, candidates will have to pay an additional INR 500 if they want to opt for previous years’ question papers.

Eligibility Criteria
CLAT UG and CLAT PG eligibility requirements have been established by the Consortium of NLUs. CLAT 2023 qualifying standards include academic and age requirements, which are detailed below.

Eligibility requirements for qualifying examination candidates :
Candidates who are currently enrolled in a qualifying examination (Class 12 for CLAT UG and LLB final year for CLAT LLM) are also eligible to take the exam. During CLAT counselling and seat allocation, they must present proof of passing the qualifying examination (mark sheet/certificate/provisional certificate). Regardless of CLAT scores, if a candidate fails to present documents proving his or her qualifications, he or she will be considered ineligible for admission.

Counselling
Candidates who pass the computer-based, online, centre-based exam are invited to participate in CLAT counselling, which is performed entirely online. All eligible candidates are provided CLAT 2023 counselling call letters in an online format in order to appear in CLAT 2023 counselling.
For the counselling procedure, the consortium invites candidates equal to FIVE times the seat intake in each category. Eligible candidates must register for counselling and pay a cost of Rs. 30,000 (Rs 20,000 for reserved category candidates) to select/edit NLU preferences and pay the counselling fee.

What is CLAT?
CLAT stands for Common Law Admission Test. It is a national-level entrance exam for admission to undergraduate and postgraduate law programmes in India. The exam is conducted by the Consortium of National Law Universities (NLUs).
What are the eligibility criteria for CLAT?
